Water damage claims
Good weather brings a smile to all our faces. However, the happiness can quickly disappear if you arrive home from holidays to find your home has been damaged by a water leak while you were away.
Running water will damage plasterboard, woodwork, electrical appliances and soft furnishings. No amount of drying out will save these items. Replacement is the only option. Even if it is “clean” water, the damp and humid conditions can quickly turn undamaged items ‘mouldy’ and this can be very difficult to treat. The best solution to avoid mould growth is prevention. Experts in flood damage will remove wet items and use dehumidifiers and air moving equipment to extract the damp conditions from the property to prevent mould growth.
